Oxygen absorbers are used to protect packaged foods and other products against spoilage, mold growth, color change, loss of nutritive values, insect damage, and loss of quality. By removing residual oxygen inside the packaging to below 0.01%, these 700 CC oxygen absorbers effectively preserve packaged foods without the need for food additives/preservatives and without the need for vacuum sealing. For use in up to gallon-size sealed Mylar bags.
Each box of 50 absorbers contains 5 bags with 10 absorbers per bag, so that you can keep the unused ones sealed.
The absorber bags have a colored indicator dot that tells you whether the absorbers in the bag are still good. Bags with leftover absorbers must be resealed quickly - they will go bad within minutes when exposed to air.
